We are a Montessori community dedicated to providing a learning environment that guides, nurtures and enriches the individual. We offer programs for children from infancy through the sixth grade. With over 8 acres to call their school home, our children have a unique opportunity to experience the open beauty of northern Michigan. Mature herb gardens are tended by elementary students and hundreds of native trees, saved during school construction, provide natural habitat for birds and animals as well as creative play spaces for children. Flower gardens attract a variety of insects and birds. Small gardens provide lovely extensions of the classrooms. Expansive lawns encourage vigorous outdoor activity. Play structures are strategically scattered throughout the school grounds and small courtyards encourage imaginative outdoor play.
