Boys Hope Girls Hope of Michigan

About Us

Boys Hope Girls Hope helps academically capable and motivated at-risk children achieve their full potential and become productive adults by providing them with structured, nurturing, and value-centered home environments, and educational opportunities through college. Founded in 1977 by Father Paul Sheridan, S.J., Boys Hope Girls Hope is a privately funded, non-profit, multi-denominational organization. Boys Hope Girls Hope of Detroit was established in 1985. In addition to the housing and education emphasis, Boys Hope Girls Hope offers children long-term relationships and mentoring with adults; provides referral and follow-up services to children not qualified for our program; and offers after-care services to youth who are able to return to their families.
