Libertyville Dist. 70 is the public school system covering the Village of Libertyville at the K-8 grades. There are 5 schools, Copeland Manor, Adler Park, Butterfield, Rockland and Highland Middle School. A total of 2650 students attend the Dist. 70 schools. The school district boasts a strong academic foundation, outstanding staff and a profound commitment to 21st Century teaching and learning.

District 70 takes pride in the consistently high level of academic achievement of its students. The children rank significantly higher that state averages at all grade levels and in all tested subject areas. A majority of the schools have been honored at least once with the Blue Ribbon Schools Award for their excellence.
